The relationship between athleticism and health is complicated. One reason for this is that the repetition of any movement, over many years, can lead to secondary effects. Any “healthy activity” can be overdone. On the other hand, play, which is not directed to a particular outcome, and therefore not as likely to be repetitive, is associated with more positive long term effects. Adults aren’t very good at play, however, especially after decades of repetitive movements make the prospect seem distant.
Come rediscover how to play like you did before you cared about athletic performance or fitness. This two-hour workshop is appropriate for any adult that wants to play their way towards a more comfortable life.
All ages are welcome. All experience levels are welcome. If you can understand English, you can benefit from this workshop.
